Gregorij, from the Portraits in Red series, 2010. Created using packing tape on backlit 36"x48" acrylic panel. Absolutely fantastic work from the very talented Mark Khaisman – I cannot believe that this has just been created from pieces of packing tape.

That is amazing. I wonder how he got the idea?
Was he packaging a parcel and had a eureka moment? I bet it was way deeper than that!
I never think of anything so random and clever!
It is always good to see an everyday thing of no real ascetic quality turned into something so cool.

Awesome use of tape...I love the way the tape makes the portrait look...realistic and yet overly digital and human.
