This stunning piece is by Lauren Gray and is pyrography, casein paint, chalk and graphite on a cradled wood panel. 12"×12". There are some beautiful work in progress images and a fantastic video on Lauren's website, which will help to show the amount of work involved in pyrography (yes, that's burning the image into the wood!) WOW!
