Margaux Lange has been creating her amazing art jewellery for nearly 10 years. Whether it's a replicable production piece or a unique one of a kind item (such as this amazing necklace), Margaux's work is sure to attract attention. The Plastic Body Series utilizes salvaged Barbie doll parts in combination with sterling silver and pigmented resins. The series is a result of Lange’s desire to re-purpose mass produced materials into handmade, wearable art. It is meant to examine and celebrate her own as well as pop culture’s relationship with the icon known simply as: Barbie.

This little boat is a replica of a traditional Black Sea fishing trawler. It may look very simple and cute, but it's a well crafted miniature replica model of an original trawler. All oyma's boats are handmade with care and attention to detail from canadian poplar wood and beech ply. They are hand sanded before being painted in beautiful bright colours and rigged just like the real thing.

Little Bennie is a 10 inch (25.4cm) tall hand-crafted art doll. His clothing is all hand-stitched. He wears a blue knit turtleneck, wool cropped pants, and little hand-made suspenders. His body is a stuffed fabric base covered with paperclay. His head, arms, and legs are all paperclay. His arms and legs are jointed and movable. As always, lots of love and detailing goes into Murmur Fremo's art dolls. Bennie will carry that happiness to his new home!
