99 Ice Cream Cone Recycled Felt Food Sculpture by British Cream Tea

The quintessential British summer seaside treat…the 99. A crunchy wafer cone stamped with panels of waffle pattern holding a swirl of soft vanilla ice cream with a chocolate flake stuck into the side. No-one really knows where the name "99" comes from...there are many theories out there! Made from felt and stuffed with polyfil. Completely hand sewn, quilted, embroidered and stuffed. Each 99 is hand cut, sewn and embroidered, the ice ream swirl, cornet waffle pattern and flake are completely unique on each 99. 9 inches or 23 cms long x 2.5 inches or 7 cms diameter at the ice cream's top.

long - form - library by ifsodoso

This is a remarkable piece of furniture. The concept being to design an environment in which to read and contemplate. Like the hull of a boat, the underside is curved, allowing steady gentle rocking, controlled by the occupant, as you would on a tree swing or an old rocking chair. This library can hold up to 400 books of varying shapes and sizes, and/or several hundred CD's, DVD's, or indeed nothing at all, it is entirely up to you. Oh, and no, it won't roll off, or tip over! The first two box sections adjacent to the base unit are flat bottomed - it would require a superhuman effort to even push it that far, after which there would be absolutely nowhere else for it to go. The movement is actually incredibly gentle and relaxing, especially as the ceiling remains static whilst you and the apex of the circles move together harmoniously. A wonderful sensation!

M.A.R.E.E.N. Tee by Folklands

Folklands is run by Sydney based artist John-Michael Papagianopoulos. Folklands t-shirts start off as blank canvases, just waiting to have their tribal inspired designs hand drawn onto them. Given the nature of the medium, these shirts are by no means perfect machine-made specimens; in fact they are quite the opposite. Rather than a mass produced product, each design is limited to an edition of just 111. The end creation is a unique garment, never truly identical to the others.
