Inertia Rocking Chair and Ottoman by Artful Inventions

Intertia Rocker gets its name from its sheer mass. Although it is hollow, the chair is quite heavy which makes for a very smooth and steady rocking. The chair's form is derived from only three templated shapes. Each layer is glued together, then hand-carved to achieve its curved form. The back reclines to four different settings via a finger joint with the seat. The Ottoman also rocks along with the chair. Design: Aren Irwin, 2004. Materials: Apple Plywood with clear lacquer finish. Dimensions: Width: 34"; Depth: 36"; Seat Height: 15."
