Made with a butterfly image printed onto fabric, then freemotion embroidered with variegated colour thread. The brooch is stitched all around the edge and then trimmed close to the design. The brooch is made with one or two layers of flat wadding and has a slight padded feel.

'Unabomber' Recycled Skateboard Belt Buckle by Thrashion

This awesome belt buckle started life as a 'Unabomber' skateboard deck. The skateboard was ridden, treasured, and thrashed before it was reborn. The 'Unabomber' deck has been hand cut into a buckle which features the original winged dog logo and has then been sanded and sealed with polyurethane varnish which brings out the colour in the wood. This awesome accessory measures approximately 9 cms x 5 cms, and 1 cm in depth. The centre of the poppy is embellished with stitching and handstitched beads and a faceted glass bead.
